Saint Leo Athletics has promoted Brent Graves from Director of Compliance to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Success. In his expanded role, Graves will continue to lead the compliance efforts for the Lions, but will add the President's Club, Graduation Report, Athletic Scholarships, National Letter of Intent, Academic Success, Transfer Portal, along with Name Image and Likeness Initiatives, to his areas of responsibility.

"Brent started his career with us during his undergraduate days and has continued to be a steady and reliable performer for us. He has done phenomenal work for our 450 athletes and helps our coaches daily with compliance expertise. This is a well-deserved promotion," stated Vice-President and Director of Athletics Fran Reidy. "Brent has been a model employee, gaining two master's degrees during his time with us as well as advancing in his role and abilities."

Graves earned his undergraduate degree from Saint Leo in sports business in 2014 and stepped into the graduate assistant role in the Fall of 2014. He earned his MBA from Saint Leo in 2016 and a second master's in Science in 2018. He has been a full-time employee since 2017 when he was named an Assistant Director for Compliance. He was elevated to Director of Compliance in 2020.
