You can use DoorDash to order concessions from your seat at Pinnacle Bank Arena

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Don’t want to miss the show or a tense Nebraska basketball game?

Well, DoorDash is hoping to curb those worries with a new pickup service at Pinnacle Bank Arena events.

DoorDash and PBA announced the new partnership in a Monday press release.

Event attendees will now be able to place a pickup order for food and beverages from select concession stands.

Glenn Bateman, the arena’s director of food and beverage, said PBA is committed to improving guests’ experience.

“We strive to have fewer lines at concession stands and faster delivery, so folks do not miss any of the action of games, family shows, or concerts,” he said in the release.

Bateman said the arena already has a few concession stands with pickup capabilities but plans to add more in the future.

In January, Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts detailed how the university would address long concession lines at basketball games.

Those changes included opening additional stands, hiring additional staff and reducing the age of workers selling non-alcoholic products from 19 to 16.
