GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Department of Athletics announced on Thursday that the remainder of the 2024 men's tennis season has been canceled due to lack of available student athletes for home and away matches.  The team's final two matches of the season, Little East Conference matches against Bridgewater State University and Rhode Island College, have been canceled with each opponent earning a forfeit victory in the conference standings.
 
 The team previously forfeited its Sunday, April 21 match against Western Connecticut State University and Wednesday's match against UMass Boston due to lack of available players.
