MARIETTA, Ohio — Two Rivers Trust (T.R.T.), the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) collective for the Marietta College men's basketball program, is proud to officially launch its business entity in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
"The landscape of college sports is changing rapidly. NIL has taken college athletics by storm, specifically the last two years at the Division I level, and is continuing to grow at all levels of college sports. NIL will be crucial for many programs to compete nationally," said Mike Kenney, Executive Director and Founder of Two Rivers Trust. "Two Rivers Trust was built to support Marietta College men's basketball student-athletes, but more importantly, to give PioNation a chance to contribute to the men's basketball program tradition. Two Rivers Trust will help the passionate members of our community and alumni base to continue creating a unique experience on and off the court for all student-athletes."
The launch of Two Rivers Trust comes with a new
website where Pioneers fans, supporters and alumni can contribute directly to the collective through donations (annual, monthly, or exclusive memberships). Also, Two Rivers Trust will work with local businesses in the Mid-Ohio Valley to collaborate with Marietta College men's basketball student-athletes for advertisement, promotions, and appearances.
"Our directors and advisory board continue to collaborate on ways to contribute to our NIL Collective," Kenney said. "We have plans for merchandise sales, fundraising events, and community outreach programs to contribute to Two Rivers Trust."

Jon VanderWal said the launch of the Two Rivers Trust today is another positive step forward for the program.
"It is vital to our future success on and off the floor," said VanderWal, who is entering his 18th season. "The Marietta community, our supporters, and our alumni base are part of what makes our program so special. Without their support, we would not have had the success we have had over the last 10 years. There is no doubt in my mind that their efforts with NIL will be any different and Two Rivers Trust enhances those opportunities for our student-athletes, community, and Marietta College."
