Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach (24-50)

Francis Marion University, a NCAA Division II institution, invites applications for the position for an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. On court coaching, teaching and scouting
  2. Assisting Head Coach in monitoring student-athletes for academic requirements, retention, and progress toward graduation
  3. Maintaining all web-based compliance assistance software data
  4. Organizing and overseeing the game management duties
  5. Assisting with recruitment of student-athletes
  6. Assisting with Head Women’s Basketball Coach in meeting with various community organizations to promote interest in the athletic program at FMU
  7. Assisting with all Fundraising activities

A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Previous coaching experience is required, along with ability to communicate and teach skilled athletes in basketball. Candidates must have a working knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
