Virginia Beach, VA - Regent University Director of Athletics, Michael W. Allen, has announced the hiring of Briley Fillenwarth as the schools new Head  Women's Soccer Coach.  Fillenwarth comes to the Royals from The University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, where she played college soccer as a goalkeeper and most recently was a leader with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Prior to her time at the University of the Cumberlands, Fillenwarth was a coach at a Corbin Independent School where she concentrated on the goalkeepers.

"We are pleased to announce Briley Fillenwarth as our new head women's soccer coach here at Regent University," said Allen.  "She comes to us with wonderful experience as a former college soccer player, at a nationally known program the University of the Cumberlands (KY). As a former keeper, she has the right personality, mentality, work-ethic and spiritual maturity to lead our program effectively. We cannot wait for her to arrive on campus, where we have no doubt she is going to build upon the foundation of our women's soccer program."
