The men's team finished 5-8 in 2018-19 which was a two-win increase from the season before. The shortened 2020 season ended with the women's team posting a 3-1 record, and the men's team posting a 1-1 record.

Brown played tennis for four years at Columbia College, and helped lead the team to three-straight appearances in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament. Prior to arriving at Minnesota Morris, she served as head varsity boys' and girls' tennis coach at North Central High School in Kershaw, South Carolina for the 2017-18 school year.
