Job Summary |
Auburn University Athletics is excited to begin the search for an Athletic Trainer to join the team! The individual in this position provides preventative and rehabilitative health care for student athletes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: care, prevention, rehabilitation, and counseling of student-athletes; assists in other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine; assists the Director in coordination and supervision of the sports medicine program at the university athletic department. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications | Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science (with an emphasis in athletic training), or related which leads to athletic training certification Level I Bachelor’s degree Level II Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience in preventing, assessing and treating athletic injuries. Level III Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience in preventing, assessing and treating athletic injuries. Substitutions allowed for Experience: Graduate degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advanced levels, at a rate of one year relevant education per year of required experience. Certification or Licensure Requirements: Must be certified by the National Trainers’ Association Board and eligible to be licensed in the State of Alabama by the Alabama Board of Athletic Training |
