Amanda Evans Named Head Women's Soccer Coach

Evans hired as New Highlands Soccer Coach

Las Vegas, New Mexico- Amanda Evans has been named the head women's soccer coach at New Mexico Highlands University. The announcement was made today by Shanna Halalilo and Jim Deisler Co-Athletic Directors at NMHU.

"We're excited about Amanda's leadership in the soccer program and look forward to the impact she's going to have on campus." –Shanna Halalilo

Amanda comes to Highlands after spending the last 6 seasons at Mary Baldwin University. Prior to her MBU, she was the head coach of Compton College from 2014-2018, and the head coach of Northland college from 2011-2013. Amanda also started the Women's Soccer program at Salt Lake Community College in 2009. Coach Evans is a nationally recognized Soccer coach who has presented at the United Soccer Convention twice, and is the co-founder of #MomsWhoCoach group.
