PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program has found its man and has flipped a former Red River Rival to the Orange and Blue as former LSU Alexandria player / coach Harrison Houle will be the tenth person since 1999 to lead the ladies into battle, as revealed in the introductory press conference on Thursday morning effective immediately.

Houle won a pair of Red River Athletic Conference Championships as a coach as well as one during his lone campaign on the pitch for the Generals. In 2018, he was a superstar defender while donning the Purple and Gold, winning RRAC Defensive Player of the Year on top of earning both All-Conference and All-Tournament honors as the squad won both regular season as well as the tournament title. The Los Angeles, California native came through in the clutch time and time again, ranking among the NAIA's top-35 in game-winning goals as he netted four go-ahead scores.

After concluding his collegiate playing days across the river, he was able to land a professional roster spot for a team north of the border in Canada before finding his way onto the Demize NPSL, which is a member of a fourth-tier league in the U.S. soccer hierarchy based out of Springfield, Missouri. After one season in the Show Me State, Houle would then return to The Boot as a member of the Louisiana Krewe in the USL 2 where he spent three seasons before returning to the sidelines as a coach full-time.

Along with his coaching and playing acumen, he has accumulated numerous certifications as a Personal Trainer (NASM), Nutritionist (ISSA), Bodybuilding Specialist (ISSA), Strength and Conditioning Coach (ISSA), and D License Soccer Coach (USSA).

The health guru graduated from LSUA with a bachelor's in education with a focus in Kinesiology and he has already been around the Louisiana Christian athletics program for the past two years or so as he is the husband of Head Women's Tennis Coach Alexandra Starkova. Since her own introductory press conference in August, he has been around the tennis program as a Volunteer Assistant Coach plus the Strength and Conditioning Coach, a role he will continue to serve.
