March 17, 2023 – Director of Athletics Denise Udelhofen ('90) officially announced today the hiring of
Will Arndt ('19) as the new head coach for the Loras College men's and women's golf programs.
"I am thrilled to welcome Will back to Loras and have him lead our golf programs," Udelhofen said. "His passion for a program that he was a part of will be beneficial in recruiting, coaching, and moving our golf teams forward."
Arndt, a 2019 graduate of Loras, was a four-year letter winner for the men's golf team and a two-year captain for the Duhawks. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the Francis J. Noonan School of Business and received the Francis J. Noonan award during his season year.
Before and during his time at Loras, Arndt was a golf coach at NBU Athletics in his hometown of Chicago, where he managed the golf portion of the skills camp and helped grow the annual summer camp attendance numbers.
Since then, Arndt has worked as an account manager at Inliten LLC in Glenview, Ill. This will mark his first collegiate coaching job as he arrives with a familiarity and a passion for the sport and for the Duhawk programs.
"As a Loras College golf alum I am incredibly excited to be back on campus coaching the teams, this is a dream job for me," Arndt said. "I look forward to leading this incredible group of young men and women. I think with some hard work we can take this program to new heights."
Arndt's first opportunity to hit the links with his team will be on Saturday, April 1-2, when the Duhawk men host the Loras Invite at Woodbine Bend Golf Course. On those same days, the Loras women are scheduled to partake in the Wartburg College Invite at Prairie Links Golf Course.
