Linfield University abruptly suspended men’s basketball coach Shanan Rosenberg after he spoke back to a parent who apparently heckled him during two team huddles at the end of a losing game last month.
Rosenberg, who helped turn around the Division 3 program in his 10 years as head coach but led a challenging season this past year, hasn’t spoken publicly about the suspension and referred questions to his lawyer.
