Head Coach, Women's Softball

The Women's Head Softball Coach will be a positive, energetic leader who can teach, motivate, and recruit student-athletes. The head coach is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of a NCAA Division I Women's Softball program including, but not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare, practice and game day preparation and coaching, scheduling, budget management, hiring and supervising assistant coaches, fundraising and public relations, and adherence to the NCAA, Big West, and University rules. The successful candidate must develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, media, alumni, and boosters while interacting successfully with department personnel and the University community.

The salary range for the Head Coach, Women's Softball is $78,700 - $145,100 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $135,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training with a college-level program.

  • 8 - 13 years of related experience.

  • Must maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

  • Must maintain NCAA-certified recruiter status.

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the campus adheres, and, at all times avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards.
