New Jersey City University’s acting President Jason Kroll will leave the financially distressed school in March, once an interim or permanent president is appointed.

An offer letter dated Nov. 18 confirming Kroll as the acting president said Kroll, the former chief strategy officer, will be made the transition advisor for the new president. According to the letter, the university’s board of trustees has accepted Kroll’s request to “irrevocably resign” and he will “separate from the university” on March 15, 2023.
