As announced today by Gordon College Director of Athletics Jason Linders, Josie Skelley has resigned from her field hockey head coaching position effective July 31. Skelley took over the program in July of 2023.

During Skelley's brief time at the helm, the field hockey program secured the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Sportsmanship award, three student-athletes landed on the CCC All-Academic Team, and one earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CCC) Academic All-District Team. 

"We would like to thank Coach Skelley for her service to the Fighting Scots' Field Hockey program," said Linders. "We wish her and her family the best in their next endeavor."

An immediate national search is underway for the next head coach of the field hockey program.
