Billiken Victory Fund Announced

NIL collective will support Billiken student-athletes

The Billiken Victory Fund was launched today with a mission of raising funds and creating partnerships that will enable Saint Louis University student-athletes to maximize their value in the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) arena.

The Billiken Victory Fund, which is an independent body not directly affiliated with Saint Louis University, will provide support to Billiken student-athletes through generous donations made by dedicated fans, individuals and businesses. It will work with the Athletics Department to maintain compliance within NCAA and state of Missouri NIL guidelines.

The Billiken Victory Fund will ensure that its efforts are in lockstep with the principles and mission of Saint Louis University. The Billiken Victory Fund is comprised of six Board members, who are all dedicated to assisting Billiken student-athletes and the Department of the Athletics in NIL:

Troy Robertson – President
Gerard Carmody
Scott Highmark
Jodi Peterson
Mark Scoggins
Joe Wiley

"The Billiken Victory Fund is tasked with connecting our student-athletes with our amazing fans, alumni, and supporters of Saint Louis University to ensure our student-athletes can fully benefit from their Name, Image, and Likeness," Billiken Victory Fund President Troy Robertson said. "We can't wait to see how those partnerships form and thrive over the months and years to come. We believe this space can truly change the lives of our student athletes and help cement their place in the greater St. Louis community. We also believe NIL will provide them invaluable experience in dealing with businesses, making public appearances, and performing necessary charitable work."

"The NIL space is critically important to Billiken student athletes and our athletic program," SLU Director of Athletics Chris May said. "Thank you to Troy Robertson and the Billiken Victory Fund board and donors who are supporting our vision to deliver a best-in-class experience for Billiken student-athletes. The Billiken Victory Fund collective, coupled with the Billiken Exchange, create the important infrastructure that will continue to grow NIL opportunities for student-athletes to build their brand and engage in the community. We couldn't be more thankful for the Billiken Victory Fund as they show yet another way the Billiken community is supporting our student-athletes as they compete at the highest levels."
