LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College Department of Athletics has named David Strum '17 as the interim track & field head coach as of Thursday, Oct. 5.

Strum has served as the assistant coach for the cross country and track & field team since 2017. In his first season as an assistant coach for cross country, Strum helped guide Keystone's men's and women's cross-country teams to third place results at the Colonial States Athletic Conference Championships.

Strum's second year saw the 2018 men's and women's cross-country team finish as Colonial States Athletic Conference runner-ups. The men repeated as conference runner-ups the following year while the women earned a fourth-place finish. In 2021, the men's team captured the Colonial State Athletic Conference Championship which was the program's first conference championship in over a decade.

As the track & field assistant coach, multiple athletes earned all-conference honors under Strum's guidance.

Strum was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field team from 2013-2017.
