Keiser Director of Tennis Daniel Finn announced on Friday the hiring of Robert McAdoo as head coach of the men's tennis program.

"I'm happy for Robert McAdoo as he deserves this opportunity and I'm excited to welcome him and his family," Finn said "Mac is a proven winner and genuinely cares about his kids and those around him. His commitment to success has shown the past years during his time at GGC and we saw it during our many battles."

"I'm ecstatic to be named the new head men's tennis coach at Keiser," McAdoo said. "I am looking forward to bringing my championship experience, passion, and enthusiasm to the team. Along with working with the amazing student-athletes at the university. I want to thank Kris Swogger, Daniel Finn, and Dr. Gary Vonk for the opportunity to lead this team to future success. "

McAdoo comes to Keiser after spending of five years as assistant coach for men's and women's tennis at Georgia Gwinnett. During his time a GGC, the Grizzlies won six NAIA National Championships. In 2021, he was named the 2021 National ITA Coach of the Year. "I'm thrilled to have him join our department and to work with him while he takes over the helm of the men's program," Finn said. "Having been with the men's team the last eight-and-half years, you want to make sure that the boys are taken care of and it's clear that's the case with Mac. His energy and relentless pursuit is contagious and will make a major and immediate impact for not only the program but the department."
