Fisher XC and Track & Field Announce Coaching Restructuring

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University athletic department is proud to announce a restructuring to the Cross-Country and Track & Field coaching staff.
 
Mike Henchen will assume the role of Head Coach, Men's and Women's Cross Country. He will also be coaching the distance athletes.
 
Geoffrey Grambo is being promoted to Coordinator of Track and Field/Cross Country and Head Coach, Men's Track and Field. He will continue coaching both men's and women's throwers.
 
Wenley Louis is being promoted to Head Coach, Women's Track and Field and will continue to serve as the Program's Recruiting Coordinator. He will also continue coaching both men's and women's jumpers.
 
Joshua Pomerleau will assume a full-time position as an Assistant Coach, Men's/Women's Track and Field and Cross Country.  He will continue to coach our men's/women's pole vaulters.

"It has been a rewarding experience for me to watch these teams' success from the inception of the program until now. Throughout the last 11 or so years, it has been extremely exciting to watch the program become competitive at all levels.  Through the robust resources provided by the University, I'm very confident in assessing our coaching staff as one of the very best within the NCAA Division III." Henchen added.
 
"Many, many thanks to all who have offered suggestions and guidance over the years.  Your support has always been greatly appreciated.  In short, this has simply been the highlight of my 23- year coach career.  It is going to be exciting to watch the program move to even greater success," Coach Henchen concluded.
