Butler University Partners with Affinity for Trademark Licensing Services

| By:

Butler University is pleased to announce an agreement with Affinity Licensing for exclusive representation of the university's trademark licensing program.

"Our new partnership with Affinity will provide our loyal Butler fanbase with new products and services as well as industry-leading fan engagement," said Butler Vice President and Director of Athletics Barry Collier. "We are excited for Affinity to continue our long-standing relationships with vendors, while also opening doors to new opportunities for our Butler community."

As part of the agreement, Affinity will act as the exclusive licensing agency to manage the university's consumer products licensing relationships with manufacturers and retailers. The university will have access to innovative technology and processes that allow for better brand protection, as well as leverage Affinity's retail and merchandising expertise to expand product categories, launch new products and grow retail distribution.

"The Affinity team is thrilled and honored to become part of the Butler University family," said Wil Spires, partner of Affinity Licensing. "The Butler brand has such a rich history and tradition of excellence both academically and athletically.  We are fully committed to The Butler Way, and are excited to collaborate with the great administrators on campus to accelerate growth in their licensing efforts."
