GVSU Athletics Extends Contract With Adidas For 22 Varsity Sports Through 2029

Adidas will continue be the sole outfitter for GVSU athletics

Grand Valley State athletics, the premier Division II athletics program in the country, announced it has reached an agreement to renew its contract with Adidas through 2029. GVSU originally signed with Adidas in 2004.
 
As part of the new agreement TopCat Sales, located in Madison Heights (Mich.) and one of the largest Adidas distributers in the country, will service the Lakers' entire athletics program (22 varsity sports). 
 
"We are delighted to continue to wear the three stripes," said Deputy Director of Athletics Doug Lipinski. "Our partnership with Adidas over the last two decades has allowed for tremendous growth and we are extremely excited for the next five years especially with our strategic partnership with TopCat Sales. We look forward to working with TopCat's leadership to elevate the GVSU championship brand to new heights as we reach higher," added Lipinski. 
 
As the Midwest's top Adidas distributor Top Cat Sales continues to stay involved with collegiate athletic programs throughout the midwest. The adidas® Team Sales Division of Top Cat Sales is a separate division that provides products such as custom team uniforms, training apparel, footwear and accessories. The knowledgeable and experienced team at Top Cat Sales provide customized apparel and footwear specific to the athlete's needs.

"We are excited to continue our partnership with Adidas," said GVSU Director of Athletics Keri Becker. "Adidas been a strong partner and we appreciate their support of our 22 athletic programs and over 650 student-athletes," added Becker.
