Stephanie Scarpato Wiltey Hired as Senior Associate Commissioner, Internal Operations

BOSTON – America East Commissioner Brad Walker announced today the hiring of Stephanie Scarpato Wiltey as the conference’s new Senior Associate Commissioner, Internal Operations. Scarpato Wiltey, who has served as Assistant Commissioner/SWA at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference for the past two years, will start her role at America East on March 4.

“We are excited to welcome Stephanie to our staff as she distinguished herself apart from other candidates during the interview process,” said Walker. “She will make an immediate impact on our staff as we focus on continuing to provide exceptional service to our member institutions.”

At the CACC, Scarpato Wiltey served in multiple roles. She had oversight of day-to-day finances, sport administration duties and was the liaison to SWAs, compliance officers, athletic trainers and SAAC. In addition to her duties at the CACC, Scarpato Wiltey also served as Commissioner of the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference and Assistant Commissioner of the New England Hockey Conference. She also had past stops as Senior Associate Athletic Director at Wesleyan University and Coordinator of Sport Administration at the ECAC.

"I am truly honored to be selected for this role, especially during such an exciting time for the conference,” said Scarpato Wiltey.” I’d like to thank Brad and the rest of the conference staff for this opportunity.  I look forward to being part of such a strong team of administrators who are clearly committed to shaping their student-athletes both on and off the field."

At America East, Scarpato Wiltey will oversee all internal and financial operations for the conference, including the conference budget, financial resources and business operations. She will also oversee human resources and administer select sports.

Scarpato Wiltey earned her undergraduate degree from Colby College, where she was a women’s ice hockey student-athlete, in 2011. She also earned her master’s in business administration from Endicott College, where she also served as an athletics graduate assistant, in 2017.
