NCAA, GEICO announce new corporate partnership

Agreement underscores insurer’s commitment to collegiate sports

The NCAA and GEICO today announced a new corporate partnership, making GEICO the official home and auto insurance partner of the NCAA. This expansive partnership includes all 90 of its men's and women's championships, marking GEICO's return to the NCAA and underscoring its commitment to NCAA student-athletes and college sports.

"We are thrilled to welcome GEICO back to the NCAA Corporate Champion and Partner Program," said Dan Gavitt, NCAA senior vice president of basketball. "GEICO's commitment to supporting NCAA championships and student-athletes while engaging creatively with millions of zealous college sports fans is appreciated and elevates the championship experience."

GEICO's partnership will debut during this year's NCAA men's and women's March Madness basketball tournaments. As part of the agreement, the company will have category-exclusive rights across several key insurance products offered by GEICO.

"GEICO's partnership with the NCAA affirms our commitment to promoting sports at various levels, as we will utilize the organization's vast footprint to champion passionate fans and talented athletes across the country," said Kate Jalkut, vice president of marketing at GEICO. "We are excited to spotlight our range of insurance products and services, while reminding March Madness attendees and at-home viewers that however you fan, you get more with GEICO."

"We are excited to have GEICO return as an NCAA Corporate Partner, and we look forward to once again working with them in supporting student-athletes across NCAA championships," said Devron Edwards, vice president of NCAA partnerships at CBS Sports.

"The NCAA Corporate Champions and Partners program is critical to the success of March Madness, driving connections for student-athletes and audiences during the tournament," said Jon Diament, executive vice president of ad sales at Warner Bros. Discovery. "We are excited to welcome GEICO back and look forward to more collaboration."
