The Ursuline College athletic department announces the hiring of Iris Rayburn as their new Head Lacrosse Coach. She joins the Arrows with NCAA Division I playing experience and four years of club lacrosse coaching experience.
 
In Rayburn's most recent club coaching experience, she led Denver City Lax to a league championship in 2021 and 2022. During her time with the organization, she inspired an 85% return rate of players year-over-year in a voluntary program.
 
Iris joins the Arrows with years of marketing and communications experience with stops at the Cleveland Metroparks, the Gastamo Group, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and more.
 
This Cleveland native graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Fiction Writing and received her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Denver. While competing in her senior season at Colorado, she finished fourth on the team with 23 assists, fifth with 29 points and sixth with six assists, all of which were career highs.

Iris and the Arrows' open up their season on Wednesday at home. They take on Bethany College at 4:00 PM.
