Nishimoto Named St. Norbert Women's Golf Coach

Justin Nishimoto BannerDE PERE - St. Norbert College has named Justin Nishimoto as its women's golf coach, effective March 1, athletics director Cam Fuller announced today.

Nishimoto, a PGA Class A professional, was the head golf professional at nearby Thornberry Creek at Oneida from 2018 to 2021. He was also an assistant golf professional at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, N.Y., from 2014 to 2018 and was the first assistant and assistant golf professional at Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from 2011 to 2014.

"Justin is an accomplished PGA professional which will greatly benefit the growth of our student-athletes," Fuller said. "His commitment to academic excellence, athletic competitiveness, community building and student-athlete experience will bring long-term success to the program."

Nishimoto, who golfed collegiately at the University of Dubuque, takes over a program that has four second-place conference finishes in the last seven seasons. The Green Knights are scheduled to return to the links on April 13 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational.

"I am excited to become the women's golf coach and join the St. Norbert athletics team," Nishimoto said. "I look forward to continuing the successful and winning culture of St. Norbert Athletics."

Nishimoto succeeds Beaux Myers, who is leaving to take a work position out of state.
