CSC and SIDEARM Sports extend digital partnership through 2026

College Sports Communicators and SIDEARM Sports have agreed to a three-year partnership extension through 2026.

SIDEARM is the online home for CSC’s two major websites — CollegeSportsCommunicators.com and AcademicAllAmerica.com — and has been CSC’s official website provider since 2008, adding the Academic All-America website in 2017.

As the landscape of college sports and media content has changed, both CSC and SIDEARM have evolved as leaders throughout the partnership to positively impact college sports.

Formerly known as CoSIDA, CSC rebranded and expanded during the 2022-23 academic year to College Sports Communicators. The move positioned CSC to more effectively lead an ever-changing membership of content creators, brand storytellers and contemporary communications leaders.

“Our mission at CSC focuses on advocacy — for our members, for our profession and for college sports, especially with our operation and promotion of our signature Academic All-America® program,” said CSC Executive Director Erik Christianson. “Our long partnership with our friends at SIDEARM helps us deliver on our mission, and we thank Jeff Rubin and his team for their support of our organization and our membership.”

Christianson added that the CSC-SIDEARM partnership extension will include a redesign of CollegeSportsCommunicators.com.

“We look forward to our ongoing partnership with the College Sports Communicators team and the ability to continue supporting the organization and its members,” said SIDEARM Sports President and Founder Jeff Rubin. “CSC, then-CoSIDA, was one of our first clients and without their support and collaboration over the past 20-plus years, SIDEARM would not be in the position that it is today.”

SIDEARM Sports works with over 1,600 partners across the U.S. and Canada ranging from college athletics schools and conferences to U.S. Olympic Sports and professional sporting leagues. Clients include a majority of NCAA institutions with solutions including websites, mobile apps, streaming, live stats and more, to serve the experience of hundreds of millions of sports fans each year.

The SIDEARM staff is composed of 100-plus designers, developers, project managers and customer support members, many of whom worked in college athletics, particularly in athletic communications conference and campus roles, before coming to SIDEARM.
