SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (January 22, 2024) – Western New England Athletic Training is proud to announce the implementation of Medicat as a new digital platform for documentation, communication, and scheduling. Medicat is an Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and service that aims to support student health and clinician productivity. 
                                                                
As of January 22, 2024, Western New England student-athletes will be able to schedule appointments with an Athletic Trainer using this new, progressive platform. Student-athletes will be able to use the same portal that they utilize for Health & Wellness and Counseling appointments to make appointments with any one of the WNE Athletic Trainers. These can be used for new or follow-up injury evaluations, injury rehabilitation, testing, or any consultation with an Athletic Trainer.
