CCAA launches redesigned GoCCAA.org website with SIDEARM Sports

Jan 18, 2024

The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and SIDEARM Sports, a Learfield Company, is proud to unveil a newly redesigned conference website, GoCCAA.org.

The updated designs focus on creating a fresh look and ease of access to all the essential information the conference offers has to offer. The goal during the redesign was to minimize the number of clicks and provide key data to site visitors while increasing engagement.

New website features include customized school pages, CCAA Network video features, and a greater emphasis on CCAA championships. The dropdown scoreboard feature will allow for quick viewing of scores across the Golden State for both conference and non-conference contests. Additionally, historical information on past championships and academic award winners were incorporated to promote student-athletes on and off the field of competition.

Danny Barnts, Director of Communications, and Hung P. Tsai, Director of Championships came up with the concepts and design elements in the Fall. Over the course of the last four months, they worked with the development team at SIDEARM Sports to launch the site during the NCAA Convention on Jan. 10.

"The CCAA is delighted to present a new website design with user-friendly features that our fans, student-athletes and coaches are sure to enjoy," said CCAA commissioner Allen Hardison. "I would like to thank SIDEARM Sports, CCAA Director of Communications Danny Barnts and CCAA Director of Championships Hung P. Tsai for their collaboration on this. We invite everyone to take a look and dive into all the incredible content GoCCAA.org has to offer."

SIDEARM has designed the new look to scale to size for a responsive and user-friendly experience on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. All 12 CCAA universities are partnered with SIDEARM, allowing for interactive digital communication between each website and the conference office.
