Pacific Athletics and FanWord Partner to Tell Stories of Student-Athletes Through Tiger Tales

STOCKTON, Calif. -- Pacific Athletics has partnered with FanWord to give student-athletes a platform to share their stories through a unique collection called "Tiger Tales." 

FanWord is a storytelling and brand development company that works with collegiate athletics departments to share student-athletes' stories. One of the market leaders in storytelling and brand development, FanWord has partnerships with athletic departments at all levels, including Alabama, SMU, Nebraska, Virginia Tech and Kent State.

"As a student-centered athletics program, we focus on our student-athletes, who all have their unique story to tell," said Senior Associate Director of Athletics Mike Hermann. "I am pleased that our athletics program is partnering with FanWord to share the stories dynamically with the Pacific community.

"Plus, as the Name Image and Likeness environment has evolved, student-athletes' ability to tell their own stories has become critical. This partnership will give our student-athletes access to remarkable storytelling."

The Pacific community will find the stories on www.PacificTigers.com under the Fan Zone tab, as well as promoted across Pacific social media channels. The first four student-athlete Tiger Tales features are now available.
