UWG Announces Kimberly Miller as Associate AD for Compliance

CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Kimberly Miller as UWG's Associate Athletics Director for Compliance.
 
Miller comes to Carrollton with a vast array of experience in collegiate athletics, gaining experience at Division I and Division II institutions as well as a three-year stint in a conference office.
 
"We are excited to have Kimberly join our family at West Georgia. She has the perfect skill set and experience to help us during our transition to Division and beyond," said Senior Associate Athletics Director David Haase, who led UWG's search efforts for this position, "We are fortunate to add her to the Pack!"
 
At UWG, Miller is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of all policies and procedures related to a comprehensive compliance program to ensure student-athletes' success.
 
"I am electrified to join the Pack and looking forward to assisting the University with the transition to NCAA Division I and beyond," said Miller.
 
Most recently, Miller was at Elizabeth City State, serving as the Athletics Finance and Administration Manager as well as being named the interim Associate AD for Compliance.
 
Prior to that stop, Miller spent time in Colorado, serving as the Director of Athletics at Colorado Mesa. Miller has previous stops in her career at Sioux Falls in South Dakota, Savannah State here in Georgia, Livingstone and Shaw in North Carolina, Western Colorado and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
 
A former softball player, Miller also coaches softball at Shaw University early in her career. Miller holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Education with a Specialization in Sport Management from Northcentral University. She also earned a master's degree in sport studies from High Point University and her undergraduate degree is in Sport Management from Winston-Salem State University.
