Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial University proudly announces the appointment of Brian Hogg as the Head Men's Volleyball Coach. Hogg, currently serving as the Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach at Lincoln Memorial University, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his new role.
In his current position as Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach at Lincoln Memorial University, Hogg has played a pivotal role in the team's success. Since joining in October 2022, he has been responsible for developing practice plans and training sessions, preparing detailed scouting reports for opponents, and handling various administrative duties such as itineraries and travel organization. Under his leadership, the team achieved remarkable milestones, including a historic 22-4 record in the 2022-2023 season, securing a fifth consecutive conference championship and maintaining the longest active home winning streak in NCAA Men's Volleyball at 28 consecutive wins.
Hogg's coaching journey includes a stint as a Volunteer Assistant at Western Kentucky University, where he contributed to the team's success by facilitating practices and creating detailed scouting reports. His commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by his role as the Head Coach and Director of C2 Attack Volleyball Club, where he led the 16 Boys Smack team to a #1 national ranking with a record of 72-2 and secured victory in the 2022 Boys Junior National Championships.
Brian Hogg's commitment to player development and success extends beyond the court. As the SRVA High Performance Evaluator/Program Coach, he evaluates and coaches top talent, leading his team to compete in the USA High Performance Championships. His exemplary coaching career has earned him prestigious awards, including the 2022 AVCA Diversity Award, the 2023 USAV National Boys Indoor Coach of the Year, and induction into the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame in April 2023.
