Head Coach Michelle Rick Resigns | Takes Job at Robert Morris

Findlay, Ohio – University of Findlay women's soccer coach Michelle Rick has resigned from her position at the helm of the program and has accepted her new role as the women's soccer head coach at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pa.

"Coach Rick will certainly be missed by all of us here at The University of Findlay" said Director of Athletics, Jim Givens.  "She has done and incredible job in a short period of time.  Her enthusiasm, love for the game and willingness to be a part of our team spoke volumes to the staff and her student-athletes.  Our UF family wishes her nothing but the best as she moves on in her career."

Rick spent two seasons as the Oilers head coach and led the program to a record of 21-11-7 including a, 18-6-4 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play. In her first year, the team won ten games and this past season, won 11. Both seasons ended in the second round of the G-MAC Championship Tournament.

Under her leadership, players have picked up seven all-conference awards, two all-region awards, and a pair of major conference awards that included the 2023 G-MAC Goalkeeper of the Year and the 2022 Elite 26 Award.

The search for Rick's replacement will begin immediately.
