In the NCAA Tournament, the scarlet and white topped Montclair State 3-2 in the NCAA Regionals before falling to Stevens in the NCAA Regional Semifinal.

Cahoon earned NEWMAC Coach of the Year honors in the 2015 season after taking the program to the NEWMAC Championship and earned 22 wins after being picked eighth in the Preseason Poll. In his final season with the program, the Cougars earned the fifth seed in the NEWMAC Tournament and topped nationally ranked Babson during the regular season.

Cahoon coached eight All-NEWMAC players and the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year during his time with the scarlet and white. In addition to his volleyball responsibilities, Cahoon was also the head men's tennis coach until 2022. He guided the tennis program to a NEWMAC Championship appearance in 2012 and coached NEWMAC Player of the Year Diego Angel.

Cahoon is a 2001 graduate of Bridgewater State and also earned his master's degree in counseling from Boston University. Prior to Clark, Cahoon worked as a coach at NDA in Hingham, Barnstable High School, and Dennis-Yarmouth High School.
