"We are extremely pleased to welcome Jamie (Grodecki) to our athletic department and senior leadership team," said Tyler.  "She brings a wealth of knowledge and a track record of success and we will benefit from her knowledge and perspective.  Jamie's experience as a successful (NCAA) Division II coach and respected administrator made her ideal for this exciting new role.  We are glad to have Jamie and her family in Wilson (N.C.) and as part of our Barton College community."

Grodecki was also the Title IX Coordinator for the Georgia College and State Department of Athletics for five years (2018-23).

"I want to thank (Barton AD) Ken Tyler and Barton President (Dr. Doug) Searcy for giving me the opportunity to join the Barton College community," said Grodecki.  "As soon as I stepped on campus, I could feel that Barton was a special place with exceptional staff, students, faculty and administration.  I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve the Division of Athletics, the College and the community as we work to enhance the Barton Bold and Connected strategic plan initiatives.  I am looking forward to being a Bulldog!"

Grodecki also served as Head Softball Coach at St. Petersburg College (2017-10) and Southern Arkansas University (2005-07) and as an assistant at Delta State (2003-05).
