Kozak Named Assistant Athletic Director for Operations

MADISON, N.J. – Nick Kozak has been named Assistant Athletic Director for Operations at Drew University, Director of Athletics Christa Racine has announced.
 
Kozak comes to the Forest from East Stroudsburg University, where he served as the Coordinator of Athletic Events and Facility Operations from 2021-23. He oversaw game operations for all 22 Division II intercollegiate sports for the Warriors, including the setup, breakdown, and security of facilities and equipment. He also coordinated and scheduled pre-game and halftime entertainment, was responsible for the game day operation of concessions, worked with campus facilities management, and developed practice schedules for all 22 sports.

Prior to his tenure at ESU, Kozak served as Operations Manager of The Hoop Group from 2019-21. During that time, he managed daily operations of basketball camps, exposure tours, clinics, and tournaments for the one of the biggest grassroots basketball companies and sporting event operators in the country. He also developed tournament schedules for all events based upon team schedule requests and skill level, managed inventory of event supplies, coordinated complete setup and breakdown of event facilities, and assisted in ticket sale operations and revenue reconciliation of team tournaments.
 
Additionally, Kozak worked as the Tournament Operations Supervisor of TBT: The Basketball Tournament in 2020. Among his duties included assisting tournament officials in the management of game day and tournament operations in the COVID-19 bubble.
 
Kozak graduated from William Paterson University in 2020 with a bachelor of arts degree in sports management and a double minor in professional sales and business administration. He also gained a master of science degree in sport management from East Stroudsburg in 2023.
