MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University is thrilled to announce an incredibly successful fourth annual Athletics Day of Giving, with 827 generous donors contributing a record-breaking $121,350 in support of GCSU student-athletes.

Exceeding all expectations, this exciting milestone will help provide Bobcat student-athletes with resources vital to excelling in both academics and athletics during their time at GCSU.

"This was a true team effort that demonstrates our community's commitment to empowering GCSU student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Wendell Staton. "I speak on behalf of all our hardworking coaches and student-athletes when I say how grateful we are for this incredible display of support."

Funds raised during the Day of Giving help Bobcat athletics programs in countless ways. Including the purchase of new equipment, facility improvements, enhanced team travel and athletics scholarship support.

The GCSU baseball team took the lead in their fundraising efforts with a remarkable 261 donors contributing to their program. Similarly, the golf team secured substantial support, generating just shy of $60,000 for their program.

On behalf of GCSU student-athletes, coaches, staff, and administrators, thank you to all 827 passionate supporters who stepped up during this record-setting Day of Giving. Your generosity will help push Bobcat athletics to even greater success as GCSU continues a tradition of excellence!
