Term-in-Ology: Batter Up! Baseball Playing Rules

In light of the the Division I College World Series beginning this week...

When it comes time to review and potentially recommend changes to collegiate baseball playing rules, all three divisions come together to assess the sport’s on-field playing rules.

Specifically, the NCAA’s Baseball Rules Committee consists of nine members and shall be  constituted as follows:

(a) Four members shall be from Division I, two members shall be from Division II, two members shall be from Division III and an additional member shall be secretary-rules editor; and

(b) One member shall be elected chair.
