PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University is proud to announce that it has hired alumnus Brandon Capone as head women's golf coach.

A 2015 graduate of the University, Capone competed for the Rams' men's golf team from 2010-14. He was a co-captain during his senior season.

"We are very excited to have Brandon join us as our head coach for women's golf," said Assistant Vice President for Athletics Tom Shirley. "With a current golf handicap of +1.2, we feel Brandon's ability to play the game as well as teach the finer points will be a tremendous asset for our student-athletes."

"I am beyond excited to come back to Jefferson where I began to craft my golf game and build the foundation for my career," said Capone. "I am looking forward to making an impact on the women's golf program."

Capone currently works as a mechanical engineer for NDI Engineering Company and is a contractor for NAVAIR, a division of the U.S. Navy. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Philadelphia University in 2015.
