MORROW, Ga. – Interim Director of Athletics Mike Mead announced on Wednesday morning that Associate Head Women's Basketball Coach Brittany Hall was named the Interim Senior Women Administrator (SWA) and advisor of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Hall, who has been a mainstay at Clayton State since 2008, was a key starter in the 2010-11 season when the women's basketball team won the National Championship.  Hall played for Hall of Fame Head Coach Dennis Cox from 2008-12.  Coach Hall joined the Laker staff in the 2012-13 season as a Student Assistant. After spending a season at Chowan University, Brittany came back to Clayton State as an Assistant Coach starting in the 2014-15 season and eventually earning the title of Associate Head Coach in the 2021-22 season.  Coach Hall has mentored a PBC Player of the Year, Two Defensive Players of the Year, 17 All-PBC selections and a Freshman of the Year.  In addition, Coach Hall has also coached three all-region players.

The SWA is the highest-ranking female in an NCAA athletics department.  The purpose of this position is to promote meaningful representation of women in leadership and management of college sports.  Her role in the SAAC is to oversee a committee of student-athlete liaisons that monitor and discuss the happenings on campus and looks out for the best interests of the other student-athletes.
