Shenandoah AD Bridget Lyons has resigned after six years leading the Hornets. President Tracy Fitzsimmons: “I would like to thank Dr. Lyons for her unwavering commitment to our intercollegiate athletics programs and to our student-athletes. She has positively impacted the university, and we thank her for her leadership and wish her the best in her future endeavors. I'm deeply grateful to Dr. Wigley for once again stepping in to assist in providing a smooth and seamless transition as we begin the search for the next leader of Shenandoah University Athletics.” Sport management department chair Brian Wigley will serve as Interim AD.
